General Terms and Conditions of the MásMétrica Panel

Last updated: 10/07/2024

1) MÁSMÉTRICA PANEL USERS

At MásMétrica we specialise in conducting market research studies on consumption, perception and attitudes for companies, institutions and other organisations. This information is obtained thanks to the collaboration of people like you, who agree to share their opinions and online behavioural habits. By collaborating with us, you help companies make decisions and thus create new products and services based on real consumer opinion.

All MásMétrica users or panellists are always rewarded through small sums of money (incentives). For each research activity we request from you and you complete, you will receive an incentive proportional to the effort required.

This incentive is sent via the PayPal platform, so in order to receive it you must have an active PayPal account with the same email address you used to register with MásMétrica. However, MásMétrica may also pay through other platforms such as Amazon, etc.
Participation is limited to one account per person, and you must be over 14 years old to participate.

2) REGISTERING WITH THE MÁSMÉTRICA PANEL

You can register with MásMétrica through the website masmetrica.es or masmetrica.com, or through other collaborators who may send invitations to their friends and acquaintances. Invitations to MásMétrica are and will always be free of charge; profiting from them is not permitted. Putting them up for sale constitutes a legal infringement.

By agreeing to become a MásMétrica user, you undertake to provide us with current, complete and truthful information about yourself at all times, updating it whenever requested, and we undertake to use that information solely for statistical purposes, always keeping your opinions separate from your personal data.
Our objective is to obtain data that is representative of society's opinions. For this reason, as a MásMétrica panel user you may only hold one account with MásMétrica. Should you fail to comply with this requirement, we reserve the right to terminate your collaboration. If you voluntarily decide to leave MásMétrica, you will not be able to reactivate your account unless MásMétrica expressly authorises this.

3) YOUR PERSONAL ACCOUNT IN THE MÁSMÉTRICA PANEL

At the time of registration you will have access to a personal account at MásMétrica. You can access this account using a personal identifier you must provide us (an email address) and a password of your own choice, which you can later change from the MásMétrica.es website.
As a collaborator you will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your personal account access credentials and for taking all measures useful to keep them secret. Remember: you are solely responsible for the safeguarding and use of your account, as well as for updating and maintaining the accuracy of the
information you provide to us through it.

We will assume that your personal identifier and password are always used by you or on your behalf. Therefore, you must notify us immediately of any access restriction, modification or cancellation of the account, as well as any problem related to access to your personal account. We reserve the right to cancel or block your account to protect you, MásMétrica or our associates in the event of identity theft or other fraudulent activity.

Accessing MásMétrica using another collaborator's identifier and password, as well as obtaining, using or disclosing other collaborators' personal data, constitutes a legal and potentially criminal offence.

As a collaborator you agree not to transfer the use of your personal account to third parties, unless you have the explicit consent of MásMétrica.

4) PRIVACY

Your privacy is very important to us. That is why we comply with the European Union's data protection regulations, which represent the highest privacy standard worldwide. If you would like to know in more detail how we protect the information you share with us, please visit our Privacy Policy.

5) ACTIVITIES REQUIRED FROM MÁSMÉTRICA PANEL USERS

The way to earn incentives as a MásMétrica member is by completing the research activities we regularly assign to you. Most of our collaborators receive surveys or projects on a regular basis, but the frequency may vary depending on each sociodemographic profile. These
activities aim to gather information about your opinions and consumption habits, and are rewarded in accordance with the effort they require.

MásMétrica requests two types of activities from its collaborators:

1. Market and opinion studies. In these studies we ask you to actively provide us with information. These are typically surveys, but on an exceptional basis we will invite you to participate in special projects for which
you will be rewarded with incentives. For example, we will ask you to share your mobile location, simulate a purchasing process, test a product at home, send photographs or videos performing a routine activity, take surveys in which we record video via webcam, participate in online forums or communities with other collaborators, etc. If any of these special activities have their own participation conditions, you must review and accept them. As with surveys, the information you provide by completing these activities will only be used for statistical purposes and will allow our clients to better understand the preferences of real people like you.

2. Online behavioural data. This involves installing some type of technical solution (browser plug-in, PC or mobile application, cookies…) on your browsing devices to allow us to record how you use the internet: which websites you visit, which mobile applications you use, which advertisements you see, etc. This information enables the compilation of statistics about how people like you use the internet. Your collaboration is voluntary and free. You decide which activities you want to carry out and which you do not. Your relationship with MásMétrica will under no circumstances be of an employment nature. If you intend to treat it as such, we ask that you do not complete your registration.

5.1) MARKET AND OPINION STUDIES

Invitation to participate

Every time we have a market and opinion study interested in people with your sociodemographic profile, we will send you an invitation to participate via email, an in-app notification, SMS, or any other means we may develop in the future.

Duration and subject matter of studies

The invitations we send to participate in studies inform you of the subject matter of the study only in general terms. We usually indicate the approximate duration of the study, although please bear in mind that depending on filters or different paths within the survey, it may vary in time and complexity. The duration of a study is estimated by
MásMétrica staff, but the time it ultimately takes will always depend on you. Remember that the more extensive the study and the more effort it requires, the greater the incentive you will receive.
Participation period

The time available to participate in studies is variable and depends on when the minimum number of participants is reached, so we cannot specify or guarantee a minimum period of active study availability.

Your obligations as a collaborator

As a collaborator you are obliged to participate honestly in the market and opinion studies to which we invite you. Accordingly, we will consider you to be not participating honestly if:

• We detect that you have provided inconsistent information.
• We determine that the time you spent completing a study is
insufficient to have read its contents in detail.
• The information you provide does not match what you told us at the time of registration or in the most recent update of that information.
• We detect that you have failed to maintain the confidentiality of the contents shared with you, by avoiding the dissemination, by any means, of texts, images or videos we show you while you participate.

Non-compliance with any of these obligations may be sufficient grounds
to delete your MásMétrica account.

Your rights

You are free to participate or not in the studies to which we invite you. If you find a study too tedious, if it requests information you do not wish to provide, or if you simply do not feel like participating, you can simply ignore it. You have the right to receive compensation in the form of financial incentives in exchange for any correct and complete participation you make in studies, however brief, unless otherwise indicated in the invitation, as MásMétrica always rewards your opinion, provided it is truthful and corresponds to what was requested.

5.2) ONLINE BEHAVIOURAL DATA

Invitation to participate

Once registered with MásMétrica, some collaborators are invited to share their online behavioural data. If you are one of them, you will receive precise instructions on how to enable your browsing devices (PC, tablet, smartphone or other) to send the required data and on how you will be rewarded
for doing so.

We reserve the right to invite those collaborators we deem appropriate to meet the needs of our clients. If you voluntarily cancel your participation or do not start participating within the established time, we will not be able to invite you again.

Participation period

Collaboration by sharing online behavioural data is ongoing and for an indefinite period of time. You may additionally receive specific surveys about your online behavioural data.

If you participate in this type of activity, MásMétrica will consider your participation valid provided you do not stop sending data from your devices for a period exceeding 30 days. After this time, we consider your participation to have been interrupted and you will cease to receive the corresponding incentives. If there is a lengthy period of inactivity during which we receive no data from any of your devices, we will cancel your participation in the online behavioural programme.

If at any point we no longer need your data, whether due to lack of client interest or for any other reason, we will inform you in advance and tell you how to uninstall the online behavioural recording systems from your devices.

Your obligations as a collaborator

If you decide to share your online behavioural data with us, you must do so honestly, which implies:

• Using your browsing devices naturally, that is, in the same way you would if you were not sharing your data with us.
• Not activating and deactivating a browsing device with the sole purpose of receiving the corresponding compensation or incentives, without providing real information about your online behaviour.
• Not having devices that send duplicate data.

You may stop sharing your online behavioural data at any time. You simply need to uninstall from your devices the technical systems that allow us to record how you use the internet. If you have trouble doing so, we will help you.

You have the right to receive compensation or an incentive while you are sharing your data with us. When you begin sharing data, we will explain the amount and method of payment. The information you share with us will always be protected. It will only be used for research purposes and in an aggregate manner, separating your identity from your online behavioural data. Remember that we are interested in knowing how real people like you use the internet; we have no particular interest in any specific individual.

We recommend you read our Privacy Policy if you have any questions.

6) PAYMENTS TO MÁSMÉTRICA PANEL USERS

Registered users who complete questionnaires, once it has been verified that they have done so correctly, may receive a reward.

The procedure to qualify for the reward will be as follows:

a) MásMétrica will send an invitation to users in its registered database, inviting them to participate in a study. The study will be limited, requiring the participation of a specific number of users. Once that number is reached, participation by other users will be prevented. Only users who have completed the study by answering all the required questions will be rewarded, not those who were merely invited.
b) Each study has a different reward, depending on factors such as the duration, subject matter or complexity of the questionnaire.
c) There is the possibility of sending products to users' homes for them to try and test, and subsequently answer a questionnaire evaluating said product.
d) MásMétrica will not be held responsible for the opinions of the users participating in
the studies.
e) MásMétrica will make all its payments through the electronic payment system PayPal
(www.paypal.com). It may also make payments through other systems such as Amazon, etc., always at MásMétrica's discretion.
f) In accordance with Article 33 of Law 35/06 of 28 November on Personal Income Tax (IRPF), these micropayments will be treated as capital gains. It is the responsibility of MásMétrica panel users to find out about any applicable tax obligations and, where applicable, to comply with them.
g) MásMétrica is not responsible for the PayPal, Amazon, etc. service, its use, etc.
h) MásMétrica may reclaim payments that may have been made in error to users' PayPal, Amazon, etc. accounts.
i) MásMétrica will not reward persons who are not in its database, who are not previously registered with it and have not been invited to participate in studies, but who independently fill in studies that have somehow reached them.
j) To withdraw their reward, the user must access PayPal, Amazon, etc. with the same email address with which they completed the questionnaire, as the reward payment will be made to that email address. If the user is not registered with that email address, the money with which MásMétrica incentivises the user's response will be credited to PayPal, Amazon, etc. in the name of that email address. PayPal, Amazon, etc. will send an email to that user's email account, informing them that MásMétrica has left the reward in their name with PayPal, Amazon, etc., and that if they wish to withdraw it, they will need to register with that email address. If no registration has taken place within one month, the reward will be returned by PayPal, Amazon, etc. to MásMétrica.
k) MásMétrica will have the final say on who is rewarded, given that it is possible for a user to complete a survey but not meet the requirements because they do not fit the required profile, have falsified data, completed the survey without motivation, etc.

7) CANCELLATION OF YOUR MÁSMÉTRICA ACCOUNT

Your personal account may be cancelled for three reasons:

You may choose to leave MásMétrica

You may leave MásMétrica voluntarily at any time, from your personal area in the MásMétrica panel. Once done, we will delete all your personal data that identifies you.

MásMétrica may cancel your account

For our part, we reserve the right to delete your MásMétrica account whenever:

• You do not provide accurate, truthful, current and complete information.
• You do not update your personal data when necessary, especially the email address.
• We detect that you have registered with MásMétrica on more than one occasion.
• We detect that you have participated dishonestly in the activities we propose, whether in market and opinion studies or by sharing data on your online behaviour, as described above.
• You are under 14 years of age.
• You revoke your consent to receive communications from us by email or other means.
• You use inappropriate, offensive, threatening, defamatory or misleading language in surveys, emails and/or any other official MásMétrica channel, including social media.
• You breach any of the obligations set out in these General Terms and Conditions or any other grounds that MásMétrica deems appropriate.

MásMétrica reserves the right to delete your account in any of the above cases, or alternatively, to warn you to cease the causes of non-compliance.

If you have been inactive for a long time

We also reserve the right to delete your MásMétrica account in the following cases:

• If you do not participate in any survey or have not responded to our survey invitations for several months.
• If you do not participate in at least 1 of the last 10 studies to which you have been invited.
• If you do not access your user area at least once a year.
• If you do not complete your registration correctly.

In any of the above cases we will consider that you have entered a "period of inactivity", and may unsubscribe you without prior notice.

MásMétrica reserves the right to modify the "inactivity period". To do so, we must announce it with a minimum of reasonable notice, either by notifying its collaborators or by making an announcement on the MásMétrica.com website.

8) INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY

As a collaborator, you acknowledge and accept that all intellectual and industrial property rights over the content and/or any other elements included on the MásMétrica.com website, social media used by MásMétrica and MásMétrica surveys (including, by way of example and without limitation, trademarks, logos, texts, images, videos, graphics...) belong to MásMétrica and/or third parties.
Neither accessing MásMétrica nor your participation in the published surveys shall, in any case, constitute the acquisition by you of any ownership rights over the content set out therein.

Therefore, the exploitation, reproduction, distribution, public communication, making available to the public and/or transformation, including translation, of all content that is the subject of intellectual and industrial property rights hosted on the sites described above, by any means, is strictly prohibited without the prior
authorisation of MásMétrica.

In the event of a breach on your part, we reserve the right to terminate your collaboration by cancelling your account.
